Self-Funding Calculator
Our Self-Funding Calculator can be used as a starting point to determine whether self-funding may be an option for your company. Please note this calculator does not cover all criteria used by states to determine whether a company qualifies for self-funding.
To use the calculator, gather at least one year of insurance premiums paid to your insurance agency as well as the amount paid out for claims by your insurance agency during the time same period.
** Please note there are several criteria for becoming self-funded as laid out by the State of Michigan.
